SOMA Yoga Club offers private traditional Ashtanga yoga lessons in Paris with Kate — a yoga teacher with 20 years of yoga practice. Each session is built around you: your body, your breath, your level, whether you have never stepped on a mat or have practiced for years.
Why private lessons?
Ashtanga yoga was traditionally passed from teacher to student individually. In a private lesson there is nowhere to hide and nothing to keep up with — the sequence unfolds at your own pace, with hands-on guidance, precise adjustments, and space to ask everything you want to ask.
Individual guidance gives you time to explore the method: breathing (ujjayi), gaze points (drishti), and the flowing link between breath and movement (vinyasa) are introduced and refined at your own pace. If you are curious about the method itself, read the full guide: What is Ashtanga Yoga?
Sessions & pricing
Two formats are available: a 1h15 session (95€) and an extended 1h30 session (115€). The longer format leaves room for pranayama, deeper work on specific postures, or a quiet closing meditation.

About your teacher
Kate began her yoga journey in 2007 and has studied the Ashtanga method with teachers across Thailand, Indonesia, India, the Netherlands and the USA. She weaves Ashtanga yoga, yoga therapy, pranayama and meditation into a practice that meets each student where they are. In 2021 she also developed a gentle method of prenatal, postpartum and women's health yoga.
Not in Paris, or travelling often? The practice continues wherever you are through online Ashtanga classes.
